MUMBAI: At the recently concluded Promotion Marketing Awards for Asia (PMAA) 2009, Red FM walked away with the �Gold Dragon Best Event or Experiential Marketing Campaign Award' for �Red FM's Bajaate Raho Awards – No Votes Campaign'. The awards recognize the best marketing brands in Asia.

Judged by a 100 member Pan-Asian Judging Panel the honour is first for a Radio Brand in Asia. The winning campaign has been uplifted to the 2009 MAA Worldwide Globes where it will now compete against the best campaigns in the world.

Bajaate Raho Awards is a first-of-its-kind people's choice award that celebrates the excellence in categories such as Bollywood, Music, Cricket, Television and City Special Awards for the cities of Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. �No Votes Campaign' resembled an actual political rally in India, but with a difference. In this, the campaigners were actually campaigning for No Votes.

Expressing his delight at the win, Red FM COO Abraham Thomas said, It is indeed an honor to receive such a prestigious award.
