RCom partners with Lenovo to launch CDMA/GSM smartphones

New Delhi: Reliance Communications (RCom), has announced partnership with Lenovo to redefine the CDMA device ecosystem in the country and launch a range of innovative smart phones.

The complete range of smart-phones across screen sizes and processor speed will be attractively priced and work on CDMA and GSM network simultaneously. It will use the Reliance ‘Dual Core’ network advantage that switches calls between the two networks automatically based on the strength and quality of RF signals.

As per reports, RCom and Lenovo will launch five Android smartphones with both CDMA and GSM capability in India by March this year.

Reliance Communications offers the most advanced data plan under the “All Share” category where the customers can pool their data into one account and use multiple devices across smart-phones and tablets. Being the market leader in data segment, this partnership with Lenovo will help to redefine the device ecosystem in the country.

The Reliance Lenovo co-branded is aimed towards leading the next wave of Smart-phones and tablets across the country with the widest footprint of High Speed Data network of Reliance. The range of products and special customer plans will be available across 2500 Reliance stores and 1000 company stores of Lenovo.

It will operate on the latest Android operating system with a dual core 1 GHz processor that supports all latest applications and comes with a strong battery life. The co-branded Smart-phones will be available across the widest distribution and retail network in the country managed by Reliance and Lenovo distribution channel.
