MUMBAI: The 13th edition of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) has announced the winners in the technical award categories.
Ra.One bagged two honours in technical sound category with Sound Recording (Resul Pookutty & Amrit Pritam Dutta) and Song Recording (Vijay Dayal - Chammak Challo).

Music maestro AR Rahman won the award for Background Score (Rockstar), while Anuj Mathur and Baylon Fonseca won the honour for Sound Mixing (Zindagi na Milegi Dobara).

The winners were decided by industry members and the online voting for popular awards was opened to audiences from across the world on 3 May.

The winners will receive their trophies at IIFA Rocks on 8 June in Singapore.
