Ranbir recreates Rishi Kapoor's iconic look in Besharam

MUMBAI: 'Like father, like son' saying goes for Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor who will be seen in similar avatar like his father Rishi Kapoor’s look of Karz. This look will be for the upcoming comedy film Besharam.

The music for the film is composed by Lalit Pandit.  In a conversation with Radioandmusic.com earlier, he had revealed that the film will comprise six tracks. The album will feature a mix of youthful, romantic, peppy and item numbers penned by Rajeev Karwal and Nikhat Khan. There is a special romantic track for which the Bengali boy, Abhijeet Bhattacharya will be rendering his voice. Other tracks included are a slow, semi-sad composition rendered by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal, a solo track by debutant Sujeet Shetty with dialogues by Ranbir Kapoor and two item tracks by Mamta Sharma and Aishwarya Nigam, and Mika Singh with Shreya Ghoshal respectively.

Two decades ago, Rishi Kapoor was seen wearing a metallic outfit for the hit song ‘Om Shanti Om’, sung by the legendary Kishore Kumar, leaving behind some memories. Now his son seems to revive that memory with song ‘Besharam’.

The film is directed by Abhinav Kashyap. The film stars Ranbir, his parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, and an Indian-Australian film-theatre actress Pallavi Sharda among others. It is slated to release on October 2013.
