MUMBAI: The Grammy and Oscar winning composer A R Rahman is known to have some of the choicest musicians on his songs - be it his albums or live tours. And, guitarist Sanjeev Thomas is one among those musicians who has embellished many of Rahman's songs with his trademark guitar work. 

Can you recall the fabulous guitar work on songs like Rehna Tu (Delhi 6), Aye Bacchu (Ghajini) and Aditi (Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na)? Probably, you'd like to hear what's it like when the man himself does a song in his own way.

Though a regular on Rahman's projects, Sanjeev also performs with his Chennai based band 'Rainbow Bridge' and is equally active on the indie scene. As a part of his independent project, Thomas released the track 'Still Searching' on Youtube on Tuesday.

'Still Searching' is an English track, that presents an unheard mix of carnatic and RnB with some engaging visuals (video) directed by Mahesh KR Nair - an award winning independent ad-film and short-film maker.

The track is composed and sung by Sanjeev Thomas and written by Kolkata born musician and songwriter Arnab Sengupta.
