Raghu Dixit Project second album on its way

MUMBAI: Renowned indie-folk band Raghu Dixit along with his four band members is working on the band’s  yet to be titled second studio album.

‘The Raghu Dixit Project’  has recorded four songs in North London for the studio album based on their core genre folk.

Meanwhile, the band has also released an extended play (EP) of their debut album ‘Unplugged – Live in York’ on Believe Digital label.

The EP comprises of three songs ‘Gudugudiya Sedi Nodo’, English ballad ‘I Still Love You’ and ‘No Man Will Ever Love You Like I Do’, apart from five tracks from the original album. ‘Gudugudiya Sedi Nodo’ is written by Kannada poet Saint Shishunala Sharif while ‘I Still Love You’ is inspired from a romantic Kannada story written more than 100 years ago. All the three songs are free downloads. The EP was recorded by Raghu Dixit Band in the medieval St Margaret’s Church in Walmgate.

The singer also has his diary full with a number of long extended concert tours and gigs. He has also composed music for an upcoming Kannada flick ‘Story Kathe’, which is penned by Santhosh Nayak.
