Raghav Sachar turns patriotic with Vande Mataram

MUMBAI: Raghav Sachar, a singer and musician whose music can be termed as a blend of different cultures is set to release his next single, Vande Mataram on 1 August.

Sachar's own flagship label �Raghav Sachar Music' will release Vande Mataram which is sung as well as composed by him. The video for the track is shot indoor as well as outdoor. The indoor video demonstrates me singing as well as playing three musical instruments namely saxophone, flute and harmonica, one by one,... said 29-year old singer.

I always wanted to come up with my very own version of Vande Mataram. One day while I was working out in my gym, I was thinking about it and was so charged up that I decided that I would start working on it soon,... said Sachar.

Sachar describes his experience of shooting for the track Vande Mataram as fun and enjoyable. It's not me but my nephew who's the hero of this album,... said Sachar happily. The outdoor video shows kids and me running towards the Indian flag. Here my handsome-looking 6 year-old nephew, Ziaron plays the lead role,... he added.

Sachar is invited as a celebrity guest by Sony television for their upcoming show where he will be performing his version of Vande Mataram to promote it.

Often nicknamed as Orchestra One Man Band, Sachar started playing his very first musical instrument when he was just four years old. His father had promised him that he would gift him an instrument on his birthday every year. The talented musician has the ability of playing two musical instruments at one time – harmonica with one hand and drums with the other. Today, he plays around 32 musical instruments like Sopranino saxophone, Glockenspiel, Charmonica, Ocarina and a few others you might have never even heard of.

The artist loves performing live and touring for shows across the world as this is what he thrives on. An instant public adulation gives the singer an adrenaline rush and pushes him to create new and better music each time. I will be performing live at the concert �Set the Fire' which will be shot and again released by my own label and licensed to Times Music,... said Sachar.

Also, the vocal as well as instrumental rendition of the well-known arti �Om Jai Jagdish Hare' will be re-released by Sachar in October.

Lastly, Sachar talks about his upcoming projects in Bollywood. I will be composing music for Vikram Bhatt's upcoming film Thirr apart from making a guest appearance in the film,... concluded Sachar
