Raghav Sachar to launch new album

MUMBAI: Singer Raghav Sachar has released his new single Ho Jaane De, which is the title track for his new album that goes by the same name. The album will include some songs like Dil Hai Ye Dil and Anjaane Chehre from his previous album Play it Loud.

Ho Jaane De will comprise around eight songs. Raghav, who has been touring for the past few weeks,he hasn't been able to see exactly how the new album has turned out.

The single Ho Jaane De is currently playing on Channel V, Raghav Sachar's preferred media partner. The song will air on Channel V for five or six days after which the song will be aired on other music channels. Speaking on what kind of songs he prefers to sing, Raghav says that he has always loved to compose and sing romantic ballads with a little bit of hip hop and R&B.

Raghav Sachar has sung and composed for movies such as Kabul Express,One Two Three, Hal-E-Dil and Sunday. Speaking on his future projects, Raghav says that he is looking forward to the release of Vikram Bhatt's Phirr, for which he has composed the music and K Murali Mohan Rao's Daddy Cool. Speaking on Phirr, Raghav says that he has sung a jazz based song for the movie that he absolutely adores.

Raghav is also looking forward to the release of Kabir  Sadanand's Tum Milo Toh Sahi where he debuts as an actor. He says that he will be singing a song for the movie which will feature him in the video.

When asked whether he would be releasing a new album soon with a fresh set of songs, Raghav says that he will be doing so soon but says is very unhappy with the dismal physical sales of music in current days.

His previous albums include Raghav for the first time, 24 Karat and Play it loud.

Raghav says that he has been interested in music from an early age. He started playing his first instrument at the age of four and was part of his own band Canzona. At present, he can play around 30 instruments.
