Raghav Sachar back with two singles

MUMBAI: After composing for a couple of films and churning out non-film albums, composer Raghav Sachar recently had his stint with acting as well. The musician was seen in a cameo in Kabir Sadanand's 'Tum Milo To Sahi' for which he also crooned a track. The song came under the media glare because of a tussle between Sachar and Sandesh Shandiya, the composer of the film.

Narrating his side of the tale, Raghav adds, "It is for the first time I am singing for some other music director. Normally, either I sing myself or use other singers. But Kabir Sadanand, the director of the film was insistent on me singing. So I eventually agreed but in the end we did have our difference of opinions." He further explains, "It was not my style of working and composing so I was a little unhappy. I wanted to re-arrange the song according to my liking. But in the end everything went well and we are very happy with the way the song has shaped up."

To solve the issue now, the song has two versions. One is the original song and the other is remixed club version by Sachar.

The musician also has lapped up a Vikram Bhatt project as a music director. "Till now I was asked to compose music and sing for only one-two songs in a film. 'Phhir' will be the film where all the music of all the songs will be composed by me," says Sachar. The music of the film will hit the stores in another couple of months he informed.

Sachar would soon also come out with two singles to be launched under his own music label 'Raghav Sachar's Music'. The romantic song is penned down by Adiya Dhar. The video for the track will be shot this month post which the track will release. The second track is a Live concert shot and edited

He also has developed a unique business model for his label where in he licenses the physical sales of his music though the copyright of the tracks lie with him. Being a new label the distribution of my company is not so strong hence I license the physical sales to labels who are only allowed to exploit the physical sales in the form CD's." The labels pay a minimum guarantee to him and get a share in royalty according to what they sell. "They also provide me with certain amount of promotions." The composer has stuck similar deals in the past with Times Music and Universal Music for his album.

Sachar has also inked a deal with Zee Networks where in the company is the media partner for his albums.
