MUMBAI: 94.3 Radio One announced the launch of �Ban Jao Family No.1' a game show with prizes worth Rs 1.5 crores for participants as well as listeners.

Starting from 27 June, Radio One's MJ Prachi and brand ambassadors Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will conduct the contest on-air on Monday to Saturdays between 5 to 9 pm. Ban Jao Family No.1 will see regular families competing against each other and celebrity families will also be participating in the show.

94.3 Radio One- station director Kiran D'Cruz said,... The last two weeks have seen �Family No.1' emerge as the No.1 evening drive show in Mumbai, according to RAM. We're hoping that this activity will give the show the fillip required for it to stay there for a long, long time. There is no other radio show in Mumbai that is family oriented. It is this differentiation that has enabled us to carve a place in people's hearts....

Contestants can win LCDs, air-conditioners, refrigerators, microwave ovens, mobile phones, branded watches, digital cameras, and much more. By participating through SMS the listeners can also win a car every week.

The on-air promotions of the contest began in the beginning of the month. Besides on-air, the radio station is also promoting the contest by outdoor, print and online media.
