Radio One goes green with 'The NDTV-Toyota Greenathon'

MUMBAI: Radio One has partnered with �The NDTV-Toyota Greenathon', an initiative dedicated to the environment cause, under its property �Play Your Music Day' (PYMD).

On the environment day which is happening on Sunday, 5th June, the station will host one hour environment special shows with prominent NDTV anchors like Vikram Chandra, Nidhi Razdan, Abhigyan Prakash and Nidhi Kulpati and four lucky NDTV viewers will get a chance to play their favorite tracks.

94.3 Radio One national marketing head Shyju Varkey said, 94.3 Radio One has been constantly exploring opportunities to connect music with causes close to listeners' hearts  We have, in the past, associated with â€?Save Water Save Mumbai', â€?Kiss of Life-Rose Day Celebration' a fundraiser in association with â€?Cancer Patients Aid Association' (CPAA), and also is the prime mover in â€?Let's Pool In', a unique car-pooling initiative in Bangalore....

NDTV Group Smeeta Chakrabarti head of operations said, We're delighted to have Radio One as partners for this year's Greenathon. â€?94.3 Radio One NDTV Environment Day Special PYMD' will be played throughout the day on all its stations. The radio station has already launched  â€?Green Anthems' composed by Shakar Ehsaan and Loy and Kailash Kher', specially written for the NDTV-Toyota Greenathon.
