Radio Misty revamps, starts two new shows

MUMBAI: In an attempt to revamp itself Radio Misty has launched two new shows that will hit the airwaves around Independence Day.

The station will air a new show â€?Aap ki Mehfil' which will kick start on 16th August  The show will be hosted by RJ Sunit. â€?Shaam-e-Ghazal' is another show to hit the airwaves from 10 pm to 11 pm. The show will music interspersed with RJ talk. â€?Misty Choutari' an already on-air show will now have an extended time slot of three hours from previous two hours. The show will be aired on Saturday from 2pm to 5pm  

The station has also added new segments in the already aired shows. There would be shows giving tips on style and fashion, Celebrity interviews, cookery show apart from others.

Speaking on this new fresh feel look, Nishant Mittal, Chief Executive Officer, Radio Misty said, We have always strived to give our listeners the very best in radio entertainment and in turn we have been rewarded with their loyalty. It is our constant endeavour of creating the best on-air programming & content for our listeners which has enabled us to introduce such a unique concept which has been never done by any other fm. We are the only fm station in this region with 24 hours live format. We do regular survey with listeners and on basis of their feedback change the shows and music content. Radio Misty is the station for listeners' and we always create shows on their advice and feedback....

The station has undertaken 360 degree marketing promotions for the new shows and changed look of the station. Local promotions from advertising in the local cable television to hoardings apart from other on-ground activities will be undertaken.

Mittal further added, This Independence Day we will give a fresh feel look to all our shows. To make a buzz around this a full fledge campaign is on air and on ground. We aired special promos to mark the change. Apart from this Radio Jocks are also talking about this change on air. Local TV network and hoardings were used to make buzz around this change....
