Radio Mirchi turns Dheemi to Bheegi Local for monsoons

MUMBAI: In its zest to provide listeners with innovative and user-friendly content, Radio Mirchi’s afternoon show Dheemi Local has turned into Bheegi Local for two weeks.

Hosted by RJ Sangeeta and Neha, the show is playing monsoon melodies of the 1990’s and early 2000’s. Renowned musicians like Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Suresh Wadkar, Sadhna Sargam, Alisha Chenai, Babul Supriyo, Anu Malik, Uttam Singh and Lalit Pandit will share interesting anecdotes and behind-the-scene episodes related to making of these songs.

Commenting on the show, RJ Sangeeta and Neha said, "Monsoon is a magical time and music adds more passion to it. We always treat our listeners with hit melodies of the 90s and early 2000s on Dheemi Local. With Bheegi Local we want to add a little magic and fill the lives of our listeners with romance. And what better than these popular rain anthems from the 90s and early 2000s? We are sure that our listeners are going to be enchanted with this musical monsoon delight on Radio Mirchi."

Dheemi Local  airs Monday to Saturday from 11am – 2pm & 2pm – 5pm with RJ Sangeeta and Neha respectively.
