Radio Mirchi flags off DJ hunt 'Mirchimix' season two

MUMBAI: After hosting a successful season of its DJ hunt, Radio Mirchi is back with the second edition of 'Mirchimix' – talent hunt with disco king Bappi Lahiri across Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Lucknow and Kolkata.

The theme of the hunt revolves around disco for aspiring and versatile DJs across India. The hunt will be promoted through various campaigns on print, radio, curtain raiser club activations and branding activity across ten cities.

The last day of registration is 25 September which will be followed by initial short listing where three contestants will be chosen for each city finale by Bappi Lahiri and DJ Akhil Talreja. One winner chosen from the respective city will compete at the grand finale to be held in Kolkata. The winner will get a cash prize and a chance to perform live with Bappi Da.

As part of the registration process, aspiring contestants can download popular Bappi da songs from the official website, remix the selected song and upload their entries on the website.
