Radio Mirchi celebrates `Mirchi Healthy Heart` on World Heart Day

MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi Kolkata in association with B.M. Birla Heart Research Centre will celebrate `Mirchi Healthy Hearts` to observe World Heart Day on September 30.

The FM station will organise free heart check up campaigns by doctors from the research centre.

`Mirchi Healthy Hearts` campaign will be inaugurated by actor and producer Arindam. At the check up campaign, the registered members will undergo a routine health check for height, weight, sugar and blood pressure level. People suffering from heart diseases can get a second opinion of the detected disease by getting a complete check up all over again which would include an ECG and other recommended tests.As a part of the promotional campaign Radio Mirchi team will be present at few of the popular jogger areas like Victoria memorial, Horticultural Park, Southern Avenue and area on the park street.

Radio Mirchi Kolkata station director Sriram Kilambi said, "Radio Mirchi is not only about good music and enjoyment but it`s also about understanding and bearing the responsibilities towards the city and its people. `Mirchi Cares` for its listeners and so here we are with another initiative to help them live healthy and happy.
