Radio Mantra launched in Jalandhar

Mumbai: Radio Mantra 91.9 FM, the radio venture from the Jagran Group, publisher of the Hindi daily, `Dainik Jagran` recently launched its station in Jalandhar .

Radio Mantra 91.9fm, has started to rock n roll with its contemporary hit music, talented radio Jockey`s, creative programming & enthusiastic business development team, after hitting success and popularity in Haryana and Bareilly, states the release.

The station gave Jalandhar a gift on Baisakhi as it went on-air on 13th April. Radio Mantra director Rahul Gupta, said, "We are riding high on three successful launches in the last month and have proven our newly developed radio expertise. Jalandhar is a market which is of strategic importance to Radio Mantra as well as the Jagran Group. No stone has been left unturned in gearing up for this launch and a lot of hard work has gone into it to get everything right. We at Radio Mantra are proud to present to the people of Jalandhar, a station which would be high on quality entertainment. We are confident that very much like Dainik Jagran, the station would quickly establish its dominance in the market with both the listeners and advertising community."

Radio mantra`s launch started with the jingles sung by Mahalaxmi Iyer and Krishna, composed by Shaleen Sharma member of the band `Agosh`.

Radio Mantra programming head Kanwar Sameer, shared the exclusive programming entertainment mantra for Jalandhar. He stated, "It`s a different market all together and we plan to keep our on-air content very relevant to the district. Music and talk both would carry a local feel and flavor that would defiantly be in sync with Jalandhar-wala`s; absolutely peppy, crisp and full of enthusiasm, and this will surely help us to connect with our listeners, better."
