Radio Mantra to host Chotta RJ hunt for Children's day

MUMBAI: This Children's Day, Radio Mantra 91.9 FM has a lot in store for the little ones. Marking as a gesture to celebrate the forthcoming day Radio Mantra 91.9FM is back with its second stint of Chotta jockey 2' across all its cities in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand; giving an opportunity to children to be an RJ.

The registrations for Chotta Jockey' would be invited via IVRS from November 6th – 12th. The kids would be shortlisted daily basis the entries received. Out of the shortlisted lot, 2 lucky winners would be announced on November 13th, whose bytes would be aired throughout the day. On Children's day these kids would have the opportunity to be ON AIR on Radio Mantra with our Jocks co hosting the evening show Route No. # 919.

Apart from Chotta Jockey 2' Radio Mantra 91.9 FM has also partnered with I next on their initiative on children's day Health meter... in Agra, Varanasi and Ranchi. In this initiative, the best schools situated within the city would be covered for a life check. The respective school students would be checked for their hygiene, dental care and their overall development. There would be 5 doctors doing rounds throughout the city who would be interacting one to one with each student. With the conclusion of the activity, teachers along with students would assemble at a venue where the 3 most healthy kids would be awarded.

Talking to us on the same, Radio Mantra National Marketing Manager Abhishek Thakur says, The whole idea of coming up with Chotta Jockey was to celebrate children's Day by providing our young listeners with platform to come and be the voice for their town, giving them the Life Ka Mantra experience by hosting their own show on air. Not only this, to promote child health and regular medical checkups and hygiene we have associated ourselves with Inext in their drive to promote the cause of child health and nutrition, which seems to get neglected due to our day to day stressful regime....
