Radio Indigo marks anniversary with tree plantation

BANGALORE: Radio Indigo Bangalore (RI-B) celebrated its third anniversary on 19 September by initiating a tree plantation drive at Attur Lake in Yelahanka in Bangalore on Thursday.

Member of Parliament and Convener of ABIDe, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Kannada actress Ramya and RJ Michelle, ABIDe Member Ashwin Mahesh and select listeners of Radio Indigo planted saplings of 3,000 fruit bearing trees.

Radio Indigo National sales director Nabhojit Kuila said, We wanted to ensure that we contribute to our cities environment. We are Bengaluru's own, Radio Indigo and we wanted to take one step ahead to ensure that our cities reputation as the Garden City is unscathed. Radio Indigo operates two stations that air international music in the country – one at Bangalore and the other one at Goa.
