MUMBAI: Radio City`s award-winning flagship show Love Guru completes four years on Friday.Love Guru is an one-stop show on relationships providing counsel, companionship and comfort to all accompanied with choice Hindi melodies. Hosted by mystery host RJ Love Guru, the show airs simultaneously in 10 cities. Earlier this year, RJ Love Guru bagged the `RJ of the Year` (Hindi) award at the Indian Excellence in Radio Awards (ERA).
As part of the on-air fourth Anniversary specials tomorrow, listeners get to catch RJ Love GuruĹľ in a tete- -tŞte on The Radio City Breakfast Show. Says Radio City CEO Apurva Purohit, "The challenge for us was to take on a non-prime slot and build it. Radio City`s Love GuruĹľ was developed as a very distinctly structured, robust concept which till date, remains unmatched in packaging and execution. As an entertainer, the show unequivocally remains non-preachy yet providing very humane, mature counseling, managing concerns even of an extremely personal nature with great empathy and articulation."
Radio City`s Love Guru is hosted by RJ Love Guru, a radio veteran with over 12 years of radio experience. Apart from being a Radio Jockey, he has also written scripts for several prime-time serials. Love Guru airs simultaneously in the late night slot in Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Lucknow, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Sholapur.
