MUMBAI: Radio City Lucknow has tied up with Inox to organize a month long summer fest called The Radio City Summer Workshop for its young listeners. Giving the children aged 7-12 years an opportunity to move away from the routine of schools and exams and explore their creative juices, the station is hosting an array of ËœWhatte Fun activities, ranging from painting to singing, music to art sessions. The Workshop will give the children, an entertainment break along with enhancing their creativity. They will be trained under the guidance of Mr Amit Srivastava, expert in Music and Mr Jawahar Srivastav an authority on Fine Arts. The children will also get to showcase their creative prowess and works of art at the Grand Finale of the Workshop to be held at Inox, Gomtinagar along with Live on stage performances. Talking about the initiative Radio City National marketing and programming Head Rana Barua says, Adding on to the bouquet of activities we offer listeners, we thought of presenting this creative extravaganza for our young listeners in Lucknow. This is our attempt to boost their inherent talents by providing them with a ËœWhatte Fun platform extending beyond the doors of school premises. Seeing the feedback the Workshop has generated in only few days, Im certain that Lucknows Radio Cityzens œ parents and children alike are headed for a fun-filled summer with Radio City. Children aged 7-12 years keen to be part of the Workshop can register themselves through the on-air promos. On the basis of a short-listing process, 100 talented children will get to be a part of it. Winners stand to win exciting goodies courtesy Radio City and Inox during these sessions thus adding zeal to the aspiring youngsters creative traits.
