Radio City co-hosts `Gili - Voice of Bangalore`

MUMBAI: Radio City in association with Garuda Mall in Bangalore is hosting a singing talent hunt competition titled `Gili - Voice of Bangalore 2007.`The 18 Semi- Finalists of ?‹?“Gili Voice of Bangalore presented by Radio City and Garuda Mall

The semi-final and final rounds will be aired live on Radio City on 5 and 14 September respectively. Each finalist will have a recorded song of his choice aired on the station and listeners will vote for the winner of `The Radio City Listener`s Choice Award`.

The event will be judged by playback singer Anuradha Paudwal, flutist Suramani Praveen Godkhindi and music director Mano Murthy.

Two winners will get a chance to be a playback singer for director Indrajeet Lankesh`s forthcoming movie. Besides, each winner will also get Rs 1,00,000 worth of Gili Diamonds, holidays from Country Vacations and goodies from Radio City. Radio City national head marketing Rana Barua said, "We are committed to innovate in the radio space and partnering this talent show is yet another first of its kind initiative. While it allows us to celebrate and showcase the city`s musical talents in our `Whatte Fun` style, it also provides gifted singers a platform to jumpstart their career in the Kannada film industry."
