Radio City bags three awards at Big Bang Awards

MUMBAI: Radio City Bangalore triumphed with three awards at the recently concluded �Big Bang Awards 2010' hosted by Ad Club, Bangalore.

The radio station won three awards in the radio spots (services) category. It won a gold for its �Bari Bakwass' campaign, a humour based on daily topical news, a silver medal for Radio City Bus jingle, an on ground activity for the Double Decker bus going to different locations in Bangalore and also a silver for the show promo of �City Maathu' created for comedy boss Komal for his first stint as RJ on Radio City.

Talking about winning the laurels Radio City CEO Apurva Purohit says, We are very happy to have won at the Big Bang Awards. This is a huge encouragement for us and I am sure the creative team at Radio City will continue to deliver good work....

�Big Bang awards' were initiated for the Bangalore ad fraternity in 1987. A national awards property that recognizes and rewards the best of creativity in all forms of advertising and is immensely popular amongst the fraternity.
