MUMBAI: After entertaining radio listeners of Ajmer, Ahmedabad and Jaipur, RJ Sudarshan has taken on the responsibility of entertaining Mumbaikars. He recently joined Radio City, where he is currently hosting the show 'Hum Tum', which is aired every Monday to Saturday between 2-5pm.

After taking a break of exactly a year, RJ Sudarshan said, "It is good to be back on radio. I went off-air on 13 July 2013 and I was back on-air on 14 July 2014. I missed being on radio." Despite staying away from radio for a year, he continued his passion of being a voice artiste. He worked with Sab TV and also gave voice-over to almost all the promos for Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 8.

Commenting on his appointment at Radio City, the RJ said, "Working with Radio City is one of the best opportunities that came my way, as the station not only holds the top position but also has some of the best shows in this city."

Sudarshan has previously hosted morning shows in his career, which spans around six years, but has never had the opportunity of playing 90s music on other radio stations. "I never got to play 90s music on any of my shows, but at Radio City my playlist is consists more of that and I am enjoying every bit of it," added Sudarshan. He also got an opportunity to interview his favourite actor Salman Khan on his first day at Radio City. When asked his list of celebrities he would like to interview, he said, "I would like to interview Gulzar once more. I would love to interview Javed Akhtar. I am into writing and would love to meet them." His list of musicians includes Amit Trivedi and Vishal-Shekar, but it would be a bonus if he gets to interview AR Rahman and Ilaiyaraaja.

Sudarshan, who was a national level swimmer in Rajasthan, is happy to be in Mumbai as he gets to enjoy the beaches. Even though, he is trying to cope with the Mumbai crowd, he is enjoying the pace at which the city lives.

Along with RJing, he hopes to continue being a voiceover artiste.
