Radio Choklate adds new shows to programming lineup

MUMBAI: To mark the Odia new year Pana Sankranti on 14 April, Orrisa's Radio Choklate will introduce new shows and properties to its programming.

Talking about the new initiative Radio Choklate director Eastern Media Ltd Monica Nayyar Patnaik says, The local flavour and music are kept intact with these new shows. The local appeal and touch has kept Radio Choklate with the number one status till now. We intend to take Radio Choklate to the next level with this initiative....

One of the interesting formats that would be introduced is �Choklate Rangamancha' which is opera or plays on radio which would go on air every Sunday evening.

Celebrity shows have also been introduced by the station for Sundays with acclaimed singers like T Souri and Sailabhama.

Singer T Souri says, Its an honour and a great feeling to be associated with Radio Choklate. I am going to host the Ollywood Special celebrity show and I am pretty excited about it. My friends in the film industry are already teasing me by calling me out Rj Souri. I am looking ahead for a great innings....
