Raaz 3 bought me fame: Rashid Khan

MUMBAI: Two- films-old Rashid Khan who started of his musical journey with Mahesh Bhatt’s film Raaz 3 has line-up of films this year. He has composed tracks for Hate stories 2, Bhaag Johnny, Ishqeria and Karle Pyaar Karle.

“Ishqeria and Karle Pyaar Karle have three tracks all are romantic numbers. Other films have only one track composed by me,” Rashid Khan told Radioandmusic.com. Ishqeria is directed by Prerna Wadhwan and Karle Pyaar Karle is Suneel Darshan’s film where he is launching his son.

Talking about his first stint with the Bhatt campaign Khan said, “It was great to have worked with Bhatt sahab. Today, whatever I am doing and whoever I am is because of him. I never thought he will give me a break and many have a dream to work with him and I have got an opportunity to do so. I am recognised because of Raaz 3. It brought me fame,” Khan said.

He further added, “Bhatt sahab is planning to come up with a few movies, I hope to work with him once again.”

Talking about his upcoming film with Suneel Darshan, Khan added, “Renowned music composer Nadeem-Shravan has composed music for director Suneelji’s earlier films so it’s a great honor that he selected me to compose music for his film.”

Khan plans to sing for his films and also would love to perform for live events.  “For Ishqeria track ‘Khwabon ki zameen par’, producers and directors told me to sing but I felt it is not a right time. I will start singing after a while. I enjoy singing a lot.”
