Global Citizen Festival is an action rewarded, awareness driven music festival in Central Park where fans take action to earn tickets. The primary aim of Global Citizen is to serve as platform to raise awareness about various issues, especially those affecting the poor, and to find opportunities to support campaigns and organisations that help towards sustainable change. We united around a simple yet powerful idea: that by giving every child a chance to thrive, our generation can end extreme poverty. The festival coincides with the U.N.’s annual gathering of world leaders at its headquarters in the city.
