Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder collaborate after 30 years

MUMBAI: After 30 years, Beatles legendary singer Paul McCartney has collaborated with singer/songwriter Stevie Wonder for his forthcoming album Kisses On the Bottom'. The album is scheduled to be released on 6 February 2012.

Wonder has reunited with McCartney for one of his original composition Only Our Hearts'. The duo have previously worked together in 1982 on the classic smash hit Ebony and Ivory, which was ranked #1 in UK and US charts. The legend has also teamed up with Eric Clapton for his other composition 'My Valentine'. Apart from the two singles, the album is a collection of McCartney's childhood tracks.

Paul McCartney said, "Stevie came along to the studio in LA and he listened to the track for about ten minutes and he totally got it.  He just went to the mic and within 20 minutes had nailed this dynamite solo.  When you listen you just think, 'How do you come up with that?' But it's just because he is a genius, that's why'.
