Parikrama lends voice to 'World Heart Fest 2012'

NEW DELHI: Renowned rock band ‘Parikrama’ is lending hand in a prominent social cause later this week. The band will perform at ‘World Heart Fest 2012’ being organized by the Cardiological Society Of India (CSI) in the capital.

The aim of the daylong extravaganza will be prevention of heart diseases and the event will be held at the NSIC Grounds, Kalkaji, on 30 September to coincide with the World Heart Day.

‘Parikrama’ will roll out a few of its famous tracks for the evening. Speaking on the occasion Subir Malik, the manager and keyboardist of the band, urged Delhi residents to join the prevention drive and stated, “We feel that music is one language heard most strongly and we are proud of our contribution to such a noble cause.”
