MUMBAI: After a brief hiatus, lead vocalist of Indi-pop band Palash Sen is all set to liven up the music circuit with several projects tucked in his kitty.

The singer will be seen as lead actor in Manish Jha's Mumbai Cutting along with crooning an eight minute song for it. He was earlier seen acting in Meghna Gulzar's Filhaal. He is also singing for Rahul Dholakia's Bipasha Basu starer 'Lamha'. The singer will also be seen venturing into regional music singing for a Malayalam film called 'All The Best'  

The singer along with its band Euphoria had earlier planned to launch an album with Big Music last year. With the music label merging with music giant T-Series, the project seems to have shifted to the back burner now. Adds Sen, "I am sure soon a time will come when people will get bored with film music and they will turn to non-film music which will give it the fresh lease of life it needs. Currently a non-film album will not be promoted as much as Bollywood music. Hence economically it doesn't make good sense to launch teh album now. We are waiting for the right time."
