Pakistani singer Falak Shabir all set to rock Bollywood

MUMBAI: Music major T-Series has rubbished allegations and claims that labels are not discovering enough talent through its Artists and Repertoire (A&R) division. Yet another cross border musician is all set to make his musical impact in Bollywood.

Falak Shabir, Pakistani singer who shot to fame with his debut song ‘Rog’, has rendered for  Rohan Sippy's upcoming film 'Nautanki Saala'. Accompanied by bollywood projects including 'I Me Aur Main' and  'I love NY' is his untitled album which will be out in September this year.

Speaking with Radioandmusic.com, Shabir said, “My album will be out in September worldwide. I will not disclose the name of the album. Many non-film and film projects are expected in the rest of the year.”

The solo album comprises of eight to ten tracks of various genres including hip-hop, Punjabi and club music mix. The album will be launched under T-Series. The singer had signed a recording deal with the music company last year. “I started working in bollywood after getting signed by T-Series in 2012. It has just been a year and my work is being appreciated and my songs are already in movies,” Shabir added.

He revealed, “I have entered Bollywood as a singer and would like to continue my journey as a singer for now.”

Speaking about his latest film song in 'Nautanki Saala' that celebrated it success party recently, he said, “I got the film Nautanki Saala through T-series. Meeting with the cast and crew has been  memorable. It has been a great experience to have worked with one of the top music directors and I enjoyed every single bit of it.”

In April, he toured United Kingdom and will tour Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United States of America in July and in late 2013.
