Pak singer Rustam Fateh Ali Khan's Meri Dharkan released

MUMBAI: Talented Pakistan based singer Rustam Fateh Ali Khan makes his debut in India with his debut album 'Meri Dharkan' released by Worldwide Records.

It was reported earlier that Worldwide Records had signed a deal with the singer in April this year.

Meri Dharkan consists of 11 songs, and has a sufi - classical flavor to it. Two songs from the album 'Yaadein' and 'Chalo Yeh Sochain' have been made into a music video.

Rustam Fateh Ali Khan says, It is a pleasure to see my album releasing in India and I am overwhelmed by the appreciation I have received. I will keep striving to deliver my best....

All songs on the album have been composed By Rustam Fateh Ali Khan.

Son and disciple of Ustad Bare Fateh Ali Khan, Rustam Fateh Ali Khan is regarded as one of the finest vocalist amongst the younger generation. He has received National acclaim for his renditions of khayal and thumri. The singer is also the first  classical singer to teach M.A Musicology at the Punjab University in Lahore, Pakistan.

A spokesperson from Worldwide Records said, Rustam has a unique voice and is a very talented performer. His ability to evoke emotions and feelings with his songs will take him to the heights of success. He's a legend in the making....

'Meri Dharkan' is available all over India.
