MUMBAI: The hit single 'What Makes You Beautiful' by British boy-band One Direction will feature on music TV drama series ‘Glee’.

The Brit award winning debut single will be performed by Matthew Morrison who plays the character of Will Schuester (professor) in the show. Morrison said, “I've just heard of them, they're really taking over the States. We are covering one of their songs on 'Glee' - 'What Makes You Beautiful'."

The single sold more than 131,000 copies in its first week, debuting at #12 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart. With over 204 million YouTube views, the band garnered 12 million followers on twitter and over 3.6 million followers on facebook.

One Direction comprises of Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. Earlier eminent popstars Madonna, Lady Gaga and Britney songs were part of Glee.
