Nokia skips music with X6

MUMBAI: After launching its flagship music store and bundling its handsets with 'Comes with Music' application, handset manufacturer giant Nokia has announced to launch its new handset X6 without the music service. The company has instead replaced it by 25 free tracks from the Nokia music store  

According to reports, the service has been removed from the handset in an effort to boost sales. By cutting on the music service Nokia can bring down the pricing of the handset by a third. Its also said that the music services received a very lukewarm response from the audience. It also increased the price of the phone considerably for the customer. Even the retail outlets and operators were not very enthusiastic about bundling the phones with the application  

Nokia handsets which are loaded with Comes with Music service enables the user to get access to millions of songs for a period of one year. The costing of the subscription is included in the price of the phone.
