MUMBAI: Nokia India has launched new music service �Music Unlimited' on its recently released handsets X2-02, Asha 200 and 300. The service allows users to download and share free music from the library of Nokia Music Store.
Nokia Music Unlimited service offers the best of local and global music with an abundance of legal tracks from a range of artistes including international hits and local content," states the release.
Speaking at the launch, Nokia India managing director D Shivakumar said, "Nokia has been synonymous with digital music in this country. We have pioneered many initiatives in this space starting with pre-installed music, launch of music albums on mobile phones and then Nokia Music Unlimited for our hi-end phones. The offering of Nokia Music Service on feature phones underscores our commitment to truly democratize music by taking it to the masses."
Nokia Music Store includes extensive catalogues from major music labels including Sony Music Entertainment and EMI Music. Nokia Music Store has also partnered Hungama that represents major labels including Yash Raj, Tseries, and SIMCA (South Indian Music Companies Association).
