Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mithoon launch music of '3G'

MUMBAI: The wait is finally over and Mithoon Sharma, popularly known as Mithoon, is all set to present ‘3G’ music to fans. Shantanu Ray and Sheershak Anand unveiled the music album with star cast Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonal Chauhan on 26 February in Mumbai.

Sharma along with singers Abhishek Nailwal, Tochi Raina and Shilpa Rao performed live. The musical night also witnessed the launch of the song Khalbali, rendered by Rao, Arijit Singh and Raina. Raina who has also sung the Punjabi version of Khalbali stormed the stage with his energy at the event. This is Sharma’s first work with Punjabi beats and lyrics.

The music album of the film comprises of six tracks all composed by Sharma, except the theme track that is created by Amar Mohile.

Sharma said, “I am known for romantic numbers and I have composed one in the film-‘Kaise Bataaoon’ (according to Shantanu and Sheershak it will be the greatest love song of the year). Apart from that, I have composed the entire album based on the script of the thriller film, something I have never done before." KK and Sonal Chauhan have rendered ‘Kaise Bataaoon’, and Sharma has appreciated Chauhan for rendering and being the voice that he needed for this track.

Mukesh, who was singing and enjoying the musical evening said, “Music is next to godliness and Mithoon is a great musician.”

Produced by Eros International and Next Gen Films, ‘3G’ is slated to release on 15 March.
