Narendra Tripathi rejoins Radio Mantra as COO

MUMBAI: Narendra Tripathi, after a stint with NDTV Media as Sr Vice President, is returning to Jagran Group's radio venture Radio Mantra as chief operating officer. Tripati was the COO of Radio Mantra during the inception and went on to join television.

Tripathi would be the COO of Radio Manta which currently has eight stations spread across Jharkhand, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. After consolidating its current operations, the company now plans to inorganically scale up their operations.

Confirming the development, Radio Mantra director Rahul Gupta said I am delighted to welcome Narendra back to the Jagran Group  Narendra would be joining us as the Chief Operating Officer of our radio venture, Radio Mantra. I am sure that with his immense experience and in-depth knowledge of the media industry, Tripathi would be an invaluable asset to our organization. The challenge for us is to scale-up the current operation and replicate our success in many more new stations. Narendra would spearhead this task of making our network bigger and better....

Talking about his responsibility at Radio Mantra, Tripathi said, Amongst all the  mediums, radio industry is one which would be growing at the fastest  pace, hence, it makes a lot of sense to be in the thick of the things  The company has shared some very aggressive plans regarding radio and  I have been chosen to execute them   I have been with the group, and there is a lot of comfort factor working with the group. Both, personally and professionally it's a great feeling to be part of the Jagran family, again....
