Napster launches mobile music streaming service

MUMBAI: Napster has launched its new mobile music streaming service �Napster Unlimited plus Mobile' which give users an access to Napster catalogue comprsing of over 15 million tracks through their handsets.

Napster.com will provide users with a new ?10 per month subscription plan allowing an unlimited access to its services on iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and android devices. Subscribers can receive the services on Wi-Fi and 2.5/3G, and can also access  Napster's feature sets which include new releases, recommendations, official music charts, top 100 charts and Automix. The service will also allows offline mobile access to the last 100 played tracks along with automatic synchronisation of playlists on PC, web, mobile and integrated audio devices.

Napster service also avails a ?5 per month home entertainment streaming-only subscription option, allowing users to access online catalogue via PCs, internet connected TVs and wireless home audio devices.

Napster Europe VP sales and marketing Thorsten Schliesche said, "Napster Unlimited plus Mobile is the culmination of listening to our members' feedback and providing what they have asked us for.
