MY FM's cricket plans for World Cup 2011

MUMBAI: With the Cricket World Cup beginning tomorrow, 94.3 My FM will air live cricket action for listeners across its network from 19 February to 2 April. The radio network  is coming up with on-air and on-ground activities along with a cricket anthem which will revolve around the passion, craziness and obsession of the Indian cricket fans.

On-air, the network will present live match updates, detailed match analyses and contests. On-ground, My FM will give away gifts like pub vouchers, branded t-shirts and caps to over 23,000 cricket crazy fans. Around 150 people will win match tickets and watch live matches with RJs, and the final winners will be able to watch the finals in Mumbai through an all-expenses-paid trip.

Prior to every match, a morning segment Ek Haseena Hui  â€?Expert' Ki Crazy... will present match predictions, pitch reports, match strategy and reviews of the players' performance. Listeners can participate in MY FM ka C3... a cricket crazy contest where participants get 10 times richer than what they score by just showing their craziness for the game, with a lucky winner getting a chance to win match tickets for the Finals. Listeners can cheer for India in their most ingenious way as part of Cheer India Contest... and the best cheer will be felicitated as the official cheer sound for the entire world cup.

A cricket fan himself, My FM CEO Harrish M Bhatia said, Cricket is considered … a religion in India, and this cricket crazy campaign of MY FM is sure to set a new benchmark with its offerings for listeners....
