My FM Indore pays homage to Mumbai terror victims

NEW DELHI: My FM's Indore station initiated �Radio united for peace' and brought the entire radio fraternity including all the four stations and people of Indore together to pay homage to all those who had fallen prey into the hands of terror attack in Mumbai on 30 November.

The city of Indore came together to observe a candlelight vigil in support of the Mumbai terror victims and martyrs.

Says Synergy Media Entertainment COO Harrish M Bhatia, As a people's medium 94.3 MY FM has always stood by the side of its listeners and infused community spirit in the hearts of its audience. This initiative was a strike back at the terrorist activities and our fellow radio stations also joined our cause. I appreciate the effort of the entire Programming Team which took up this initiative that brought all competitors together to shoulder our responsibility as an effective and active media player....

The night saw hundreds of people lighting candles at Hotel Fortune Landmark as a mark of respect to the victims of the Mumbai terror attacks and observed silence for 30 seconds as the radio stations went off air.
