MUMBAI: My FM has joined hands with Dabur Amla Flower Magic Hair Oil to launch a hunt for �Magical Female- Voice of Punjab'.

The contest will provide an opportunity for all young lady crooners, warblers and bathroom singers of Punjab to test their vocal powers and prowess, and become a singer. It is being held across four cities of Punjab – Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Amritsar. The individual winners of the city rounds will come together for the Grand Finale to be held in Chandigarh on 19th July. The winner of the talent hunt will take home a cash prize, trophy and stand a chance to sing on My FM network.

Talking about the initiative, My FM COO Harish Bhatia says, 94.3 My FM and Dabur together through their quest for the Magical Female Voice of Punjab will bring to fore the best talents of state. Radio will be used as a preferred partner and medium for brand campaign....

Commenting on the initiative, Dabur India Ltd Senior Product Manager Anirudh Pandharkar says, Dabur has joined hands with My FM to promote this activity. Listeners can get a wild card entry to the competition by dialling in to the FM station. Besides, the winner will also get an opportunity to become an on-air singing sensation on My FM....

As part of this search, My FM has launched a �Magical VIP Pass' programme whereby listeners can simply call My FM and show off their singing talents to the RJ's, success at which entitles the listener to a Magical VIP Pass to the first round of auditions. My FM and Dabur will also be holding a host of activities at the audition locations. There will be competitions like �Miss Magic Tipsy' (a lucky draw) and �Make a Hairstyle', where participants will be required to style their hair, with the best hairstyle winning a prize.

The judges of city auditions will be My FM RJs, the MCs and a famous Punjabi singer. The winner from each city audition will qualify for the third and final round of auditions. In a five-day programme, the winners of each city will be interviewed on My FM in the mornings and a capsule with their song from the audition will be played, presenting them as the Magical Voice of their city.

The final round will see the city winners coming together for their final performance on stage to sing with a celebrity.
