My FM gets in Ombudsman for radio advtg

MUMBAI: My FM has appointed an Ombudsman for its radio business to cater to the specific needs and requirements of advertisers as well as listeners using the medium of radio. The station has appointed a brand consultant Giraj Sharma from BehindTheMoon Consultants.

The initiative, claimed to be the first of its kind in the industry, is aimed at making radio an easily accessible and customer friendly medium and to help interface between radio and its consumers and customers 

The station has taken this initiative keeping in mind the need to strengthen the credibility, satisfaction and faith in the radio medium. Radio, being a relatively newer medium, is still evolving its image as an advertising vehicle and the retention levels of advertisers have a scope of improvement, which range at present between 25 per cent to 60 per cent. The appointment
of an Ombudsman is a step in the direction of resolving the factors which are keeping the medium under-utilized. Through this initiative the station is providing a platform where the issues and concerns related to the medium can be addressed and solutions arrived at to increase the effectiveness of radio 

Giraj Sharma is a leading brand advisor consultant and the founder of BehindTheMoon Consulatnts which advises several noted brands like Mother Dairy's Nutrifit, Air Hostess Academy, L&T and McGraw Hill Education among others. As the Ombudsman appointed by My FM he will be offering solutions and addressing the concerns of its customers and consumers. His services will be available to listeners as well as corporate and retail advertisers.
