Commenting on the development, Dainik Bhaskar Group director Pawan Agarwal remarked, Harrish has been associated with 94.3 My FM since the very birth of the channel some 3 years ago and under his leadership the channel has climbed many a milestone making a mark as the largest non-metro network with fastest launch of 17 stations and several innovative programming initiatives for our listeners. This promotion comes as a sign of our appreciation and our trust in him to take the brand forward with his visionary ideas....

Starting in 2007 as the business head, he led the My FM brand through an extremely successful run. Bhatia has been spearheading innovations within the brand and the business operations to maintain the dynamic performance of My FM

Commenting on his new role, Bhatia says I am extremely delighted with the development and very keen on bringing in some more positive changes. The radio industry is under a lot of pressure right now with the third phase hanging mid air and whether the industry's issues are resolved or not, radio stations will have to look at evolving themselves in coming times. We are also looking at expansion of the business through the newly launched activations division and it will be an interesting and challenging opportunity....

Under Bhatia's able leadership, the My FM brand has set newer standards of excellence becoming one of the fastest growing networks while leading innovations in the radio industry. My FM came into the limelight with its extremely dramatic launch phase which was one of the fastest as 17 stations were set-up in a span of less than one year. With Mr. Bhatia's keen business acumen, My FM also sailed breezily through the recession, notching higher and higher revenue figures leading to an operational break-even in less than 3 years.

During his tenure, My FM has also won several awards like the Best Station Launch at IRF 2008, Brand Leadership Award at the World Brand Congress 2010 and the most recent, extremely prestigious NAB International Broadcasting Award 2010, a first for the Indian radio industry

Taking up the new position, Bhatia will be looking at leading the brand through the much awaited changes in the radio industry and will also bring in a fresher outlook to the different business areas of the brand.
