MUMBAI: The music of Mahesh Babu starrer 'Mahesh Khaleja' was launched by his son, Gowtam, at Radio Mirchi office in Hyderabad yesterday.

Those who were present at the launch were producers of the film C Kalyan and Singanamala Ramesh, composer Mani Sharma, actor Mahesh Babu and his wife Namratha, actress Anushka Shetty and director Trivikram Srinivas. Gowtam played the 'Sada Shiva' song to launch the album 

Sony Music has acquired the audio rights of the film for a whopping Rs 2.5 crore.

Mahesh has carved a niche for himself in the South Indian film industry and particularly is a big name in the contemporary Telugu cinema. Mahesh Babu's hit films include Okkadu, Athadu and Pokiri.

'Mahesh Khaleja' which is produced under the banner of Kanaka Ratna Movies is set to release on 7 October.
