MJ's team inks $200 million deal with Sony Music

MUMBAI: Administrators of deceased popstar Michael Jackson's estate have landed a deal with Sony Music Entertainment worth $200 million. With the deal Jackson has knocked off most of the top musicians beating the likes of U2, Madonna and Jay-Z, making it one of the biggest recording deal in the world.

The deal includes 10 projects to be released over a space of seven years including one never before released album and will hit the stands in November. Though there are reports that the popstar might have recorded three albums worth of new material.

The other future projects also include a video game, a DVD compilation of videos and re-release of Off the Wall.

It is learnt that John Branca negotiated the deal along with co-executor John McClain and team of lawyers. There are some  60 plus songs which McClain describes as "classic Michael Jackson".
