Mithoon to score music for Onir's next two ventures
MUMBAI: After garnering laurels for their film �Bus Ek Pal', the pair of Mithoon and Onir is back with the filmmaker's next directorial project �AFIA'
Talking about the music of the film, Mithoon says, I am currently working on the theme song. The rest of the songs are not yet firmed and there are few punctuations that are to be added. I would only stick to composing for the film and will not be singing...
AFIA is a short film that revolves around a girl, who after getting trained in Switzerland, returns to India and serves a social development organisation. However, to her horror she discovers the huge loop-holes in accountability, where money comes from across the world but does not reach the needy.
The composer-singer has couple of other projects in hand including Rahul Dholakia's �Lamha' set in the background of Kashmir. The film has six songs and the lyrics is penned by Sayeed Quaadri. Though the film is based in Kashmir yet the songs have a very global approach,... says Mithoon.
His other project includes �Chashme Baddoor' by Onir. This is my first attempt at comedy and I am looking forward to it,... quips Mithoon.
The composer had also released an album with T-Series called �Tu Hi Mere Rab Ki Tarah Hai' for which he had composed and lent his vocals as well. Currently, I am looking forward to my films. Non-film album is on back burner for the next couple of years,... adds Mithoon.
