MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi's �Band Banaao Jeeturaj Ko Sunaao' is back on the station with a new season.

RJ Jeeturaj will host the show which will be interspersed with �Klub Mirchi' that hits the airwaves every Saturday from nine in the evening. The promo for the band hunt is already on-air on the station. Participants can also send their entry by scrapping their numbers to the RJ through the social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter or e-mail it to him. A mock session will be held and the selected bands will get a chance to air their song on the station.

Says Jeeturaj, The forum is opened for all genre including pop, rock or even hip-hop. There is also no bar on the language though the focus will primarily be on Hindi and English. The preference would be college bands but professional bands can also chip in....

The show kickstarted with a series of interviews of various bands. Outlandish was the first band that was on-air. �Kailasa' is the next to be on air on 31st july.... Listeners can know all the trivia about the band, its members and its music. �Workshop' a comparatively young band formed by college students will be the next to hit the airwaves,... says Jeeturaj.

The station will air a special band that will hit the air-waves during the Independence Day. I am extremely excited about this band. This â€?Independence Special' band is something I am looking forward to. Listeners should tune into the station to know more about it and I m sure it will enthrall the audience when they listen to it,... adds the RJ enthusiastically  

The show will be on-air for the next couple of months.
