MUMBAI: Renowned bollywood singer Mika Singh has embarked on a solo world tour across US, Canada and West Indies.

Beginning this week, the singer will perform his first concert on 5 October at Arena Center in Houston, Texas followed by performances in Washington DC, New Jersey, Canada and various arenas in West Indies.

Apart from rendering some of his recent chartbusting hits from films like Desi Boyz, Rowdy Rathore, Agent Vinod and more, the rapper has also dedicated a segment where he will sing popular retro numbers paying tribute to legends like Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna, Jagjit Singh and Mehdi Hassan.

Singh tweeted, “Hey friends I'm going 4 world tour so my first show will be in Houston Texas! wish me good luck! Also going 2 pay tribute 2 d legends dev anand, shammi Kapoor, super star Rajesh Khanna, Jagjit singh, Mehdi Hassan Sahab.”

After returning from his world tour, the singer will resume acting for his debut flick ‘Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya’. The musical comedy to be directed by Sunil Agnihotri also stars playback singer Shaan in a pivotal role. The film is slated to release in January next year.
