MUMBAI: For the first time ever Swedish heavy metal band Opeth will perform a live concert in India. The heavy metal band will headline the second edition of Summerstorm Festival 2012, to be held on 5 February in Bangalore.

The progressive giants will showcase their two decades of work at the fest organized by Overture.

The first edition of the fest was headlined by the rock/metal legends Lamb of God.

Opeth comprised of Mikael ?…kerfeldt, Mart?­n M?©ndez, Martin Axenrot, Fredrik ?…kesson and Joakim Svalberg has released 10 studio albums. The band's ninth studio album peaked at 23rd position on the Billboard 200 charts.
