Mauj's head of content and intl business Dippak Khurana quits

MUMBAI: Mobile content and wireless content provider Mauj's head of content and international business Dippak Khurana has put in his papers and will exit the organisation by the end of this month.

While Khurana declined to comment, it is learnt that the mobile VAS and internet space veteran would continue to be in the new media space after Mauj. Having gained exposure and experience in these spheres, he is likely to leverage his knowledge in the convergence of mobile and internet sector. Khurana was part of the founding team of Mauj in 2003 and worked for the organisation for six years.

At Mauj, he has been instrumental in expanding the company's business horizons to international markets. Under his able leadership, the content business of the company has flourished with some very rewarding associations in markets across the country.

Prior to Mauj, he was associate business development manager at Yahoo! Inc while it was pioneering ringtone service in India. Back in 1996, Khurana was Internet Business Executive at Benett Coleman India during the launch of India's first e-paper by Times of India. He was the business head at Intercept Technologies and Internet Business head at India Today Group Online.
