Maroon 5 released 'V' album and announced its tour dates

MUMBAI: American band Maroon 5 has announced that they will go for world tour in February 2015. The Adam Levine-fronted band will perform in 27 US and Canadian cities before heading to Europe.

After US, 'The Maroon 5 World Tour 2015' will travel across the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal, starting from 26 May till 17 June.

'Magic' will join the tour as special guests. Rozzi Crane will open the tour in the US while Nick Gardner will serve as the opener in Europe.

The tour is set to open 16 February 2015, in Dallas. Maroon 5 will make stops in other cities like Houston, Atlanta, Tampa, Nashville, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Toronto and Vancouver before closing out the tour's North American leg April 3 in Inglewood, California.

Tickets for the general public go on sale on 13 September.

The band's new album 'V', featuring 'Maps', was out on 222 Records/Interscope Records on 2 September. The other tracks in the album include 'It Was Always You', 'Animals', 'Unkiss Me', 'Leaving California', 'Coming Back For You', 'My Heart Is Open (feat. Gwen Stefani)', 'Shoot Love', 'Sex and Candy' and 'Lost Stars'

To promote the world tour and the album, the band will appear on 'America's Got Talent', and The Ellen Degeneres Show (9/8).
